First Kickers

Our First Kickers program serves as an introduction to organized team soccer for our youngest players that are new to the sport of soccer.

First Kickers: Fall 2026 Season

• Eligibility: Children of preschool age are eligible for this program.
  • Birth Date: August 1, 2021 - July 31, 2023

• Format: 1 Weekly Session for 1 Hour - including gross motor skills, technical soccer skills, fun games, and small-sided soccer games

• Dates: August 29 | September 12, 19, 26 | October 3, 10, 17, 24

• Time: 9:30-10:30 AM

• Fall Soccer Festival: October 24th
  • All teams will play 3 games in a festival to end the spring season.

• Location: Oak Brook Sports Core Soccer Fields
  • 700 Oak Brook Rd, Oak Brook, IL

First Kickers: Spring 2027 Season

The Spring 2027 Season will begin in early April and run through the first week of June. We will share dates and more details at the end of the fall season. We will keep First Kicker groups together from Fall to Spring if/when possible.

Volunteer Coaches: Each group/team will have a parent volunteer coach.

• If you are interested in coaching your child's team, please make that selection during the registration process.
• All parent volunteer head coaches receive 50% reimbursement of your child's registration fee.

Uniform & Gear:

• Players First Recreational Soccer T-shirt
• Black soccer shorts and black soccer socks (recommended)
• Shin guards
• Soccer cleats
• Size 3 soccer ball
• Participants will receive their t-shirt on August 29th.
