K-5 Kickers

Our K-5 Kickers program is our main recreational soccer program in which soccer players are placed on teams by grade level and participating in both weekly practices and games.

K-5 Kickers: Spring 2027 Season

• Eligibility: Children in Kindergarten through 5th Grade are eligible for this program.
  • Birth Date: August 1, 2015 - July 31, 2021

• Format
  • 1 Weekly Practice on Wednesdays or Fridays
  • 1 Weekly Game on Saturday Mornings

• Practices
  • Wednesdays or Fridays from 4:30-5:30pm or 5:30-6:30pm
  • Select your preference for Wednesdays or Fridays during registration.
  • Start Date: April 7th or 9th
  • End Date: June 2nd or 4th

• Games
  • Saturday Mornings
  • April 10th - June 5th
  • Starting as early as 8:00am, ending by 12:00pm

• Spring Soccer Festival: June 5, 2027
  • All teams will play 3 games in a festival to end the spring season.

• Location: Oak Brook Sports Core Soccer Fields
  • 700 Oak Brook Rd, Oak Brook, IL

Volunteer Coaches: Each team will have a parent volunteer coach that will lead the team for the season. 

• If you are interested in coaching your child's team, please make that selection during the registration process.
• All parent volunteer head coaches will receive 50% reimbursement of your child's registration fee.

Disclaimer: In the Fall & Spring Seasons, Players First Recreational Soccer is committed to creating teams separated by gender and organized by grade level for the K-5 Kickers program. We will make every effort to keep teams together from fall to spring when possible. Teams are subject to change based on the overall number of boys and girls, total program registrants, and other possible factors related to the team formation process. We utilize buddy/coach requests, practice preferences, and each volunteer head coach's availability to guide team formation.
